Its sturdy materials and contemporary layout feature multiple plug-in points, a padded laptop sleeve, a lined pouch for sunglasses, and an adjustable phone/MP3 pouch (on shoulder strap). Numerous interior pockets accomodate multiple electronic devices, plus space for headphones and other daily necessities. Bag is wired to take power throughout bag, and up the shoulder strap. Battery pack can be easily removed to take power anywhere else desired. Tough solar panels shield & protect fragile items inside the front pocket. Nylon mesh backing material enhances air flow to your body when hiking or traveling. High density padding provide robust comfort and increases "usability." Camel Bak ready clips include space for a bladder pouch, plus channels to run water tubing through the shoulder strap. Note: The Voltaic Backpack is not designed to charge laptops. HOW DOES IT WORK? This 'mini-power-station' performs three functions. #1 - It acquires electricity via direct sunlight, ambient light, wall charge (AC) or automotive charge (DC). #2 - It stores that electricity in a battery pack (included) for use whenever you need it. #3 - It runs its recharging function either live or off of the battery....
